tinytools.directory - Giant list of more than 1.000 tools for your website, game, or any other sort of project. You can search them by tags easily in the top menu.

Want to make a website? - Website listing a lot of useful sites for your stuff. (You should COMPLETLY see this one, has tons of useful resources)

webdev.yay.boo - A more complete lists of websites with resources for web dev, like layouts, hosting, tools, etc.

HTML / CSS

w3schools.com - Completly free code learning website, includes tons of live examples for html, css, javascript, etc. A must-use site for learning webdev.

layoutit.com - Site with some cool generators for stuff like grids, tokens, etc.

HTML Cheat Sheet - Like the name says, a cheatsheet with tons of html, css and js stuff.

HTML meta tags cheatsheet - Like htmlcheatsheest.com but for html metatags.

Hosting

nekoweb.org - Free webhosting, with a chill community, 500mb for free and any file type is allowed, supporters get even more stuff like custom domains, more storage, etc.

neocities.org - Most well-known free hosting page, 1gb for free but not many file types allowed for free users.

yay.boo - Free quick hosting service, 10mb per page you upload, it's really good for small sites, experiments, burner sites, etc.

straw.page - drag and drop website builder, pretty cool for personal sites.

Sadgrl's Layout Builder - Layout builder for static sites, pretty flexible and easy to edit!

petrapixel's Layout Generator - REALLY complete layout builder, worth giving it a try.

Templaterr's layouts - Navigation tools and some layouts for your site.

zagura.one - Cool artist and webmaster, there are some pretty cool templates on their website.

themekings.net - Really cool and 2000-ish layouts, some are free and others paid, you can filter them in the navbar.

wildotjpg.gay - 3 pretty layouts in the "templates" page.

dantendo dsi - Legally distinct Nintendo DS-like layout

Widgets / Assets

status.cafe - Free widget to display your current status on your site, the widget will show the lastest message from your profile.

piclog.blue - Just like status.cafe, but for images.

Websets by Lynn - Free assets for your website, backgrounds, custom buttons, etc.

max's apartment Resources - User-made resources for nekoweb, it has an nekoweb stats widget (used on this site!) and a last.fm widget too.

90's Cursor Effects - Cool cursor effects for your site.

Web Neko - You can have one of the cute animals on the site to have it as a little pet that follows your cursor on your site.

Webdeck Player - Pretty customizable music player for your site, like the one I have on my index page.

RSS Widget -Like the name says, an RSS widget to track your activity on the listed sites. (Twitter doesn't work anymore, thank you, Melon.)

vpa.neocities.org - ChatGPT AI generated templates for misc HTML stuff.

ayano's neocities comment widget - Really good comments widget for neocities supporters (or any hosting service that isn't too restrictive, like nekoweb!) that uses google forms to create a really cool comments box, you just need "a google account with enough google drive space to make a google form and sheet."

Chattable - free chatbox for your site, fully customizable and works live, better than most paid chatboxes.

Images / GIFS

cooltext.com - Text generator with tons of styles, can also do gifs, like those fire texts you see in memes.

3dgifmaker.com - You can do gifs with very cool effects, like this one .

makesweet.com - The most well-known "Your message in 3D" site, you can do some funny gifs with it.

petpet generator - Make your own petting gif, like this one:

Art utilities

Aseprite ($19.99 USD) - Literally the best pixel art software ever for PC.

Libresprite - Free alternative for Aseprite, based on old free and open source versions of Aseprite.

Krita - Free and well-known drawing software, I highly recommend it based on my own experience.

Dither me this - Online tool to give your images a dithering effect, from gameboy-like, to manga-style. Also would work for optimizing assets.

Pathern generator - Online tool to generate patterns for your backgrounds, very flexible.

Wiggly Paint - Fun art program that runs on browser to draw with wiggly lines.

Others

deadlinkchecker.com - Check for broken links on your site, sometimes it gives wrong dead links but it's easy to check.

quack.page - Simple text editor, saves what you write on the url so it's easy to share and your info is never storeed in a server. like this!

PSX Character Creator - Really cute PSX-style character creator, a bit too basic but good enough!

TK'S FREE SOUND FX - Free Sound library filled with really good sounds, all of them free to use.

Audacity - Basic audio editor, still pretty good.
